Santa Lucia sits between Piazza del Plebiscito and Borgo Marinari. This is where you'll find the classic seafront hotels, with views of Castel dell'Ovo and the bay.
It's very convenient for the ferry to the islands (Molo Beverello), and an easy walk to Palazzo Reale and Teatro San Carlo.
Metro & getting around
Municipio station serves the area, with connections to Toledo, Dante and Garibaldi.
What to watch out for
Heavy traffic around the port at ship departure times, especially in summer. Hotels with sea views are often pricier, so compare rates.
